Marin Mindful Recovery is dedicated to deepening spiritual connection and recovery through the discussion and use of various spiritual themes and practices taken from modern psychology, philosophy, and Eastern Religion – with an emphasis on the Theravada and Vipassana traditions.
We hold weekly meetings on Sunday evenings. The general format for these meetings will include group meditation with instruction, the introduction of a topic or theme for discussion, and open dialogue.
You do not need any prior meditation experience, nor do you need to be “Buddhist”. The approach is primarily secular in nature.
Anyone with an open mind is welcome.
